Sir Galahad Chapter, Order of DeMolay

Active DeMolay Program

To promote DeMolay within Sir Galahad Chapter; we will be running an “Active” DeMolay Program. This program is geared to increase involvement, membership, and overall knowledge of DeMolay. Anyone who has completed any of the qualifications listed below; their name will be entered into a hat to be drawn at the September 7th Meeting under Good of the Order. Everyone can qualify multiple times, three will win, and only one prize per winner will be granted. Primary and Plural Memberships to Sir Galahad Chapter are eligible, however any Plural Membership Petitions accepted will not qualify under the Membership Qualifications.

Prizes:

First Place: Trip to Conclave or Sweetheart Weekend your choice, Second Place: Jacques DeMolay Bobble head, Third Place: DeMolay Deck of Cards

How to Qualify:

• Membership: 1st Line Signer on an Accepted Petition, Petitioner also gets entered into drawing

• Both Obligations Turned in and Accepted

• All Five Leadership Correspondence Courses (LCC’s) turned in and passed

• Representative DeMolay (RD) Turned in and Accepted by the Advisor Council

• Full-Time DEW Registrant from May 21-23

• Perfect Attendance from March 16, 2010 Meeting to June 1, 2010 Meeting or from June 15, 2010 to September 7, 2010, excuses must be approved by the Advisor Council, if you need a ride contact an Advisor.

• Travel to Three Chapters from now until September and every Three Additional Chapters you travel to your name is put in the hat again.

• New Degree Part, presented to the Advisor Council:

o Initiatory Degree: Master Councilor, Marshall, any or all of the Seven Preceptors

o DeMolay Degree: Jacques DeMolay, Master Inquisitor, Senior Inquisitor, Junior Inquisitor, Orator

How everyone can win!: The more “Active” DeMolay participation there is possibly the Advisors will throw a Pizza Party to be determined at a later date

You can download your LCC Tests and Answer Sheets below and get them back to me. If you need a Leadership Resource Guide or a Hi Dad book e-mail me or tell me at the meeting and I will get that right to you. Knowledge is Power and also can lead to some great pirzes!
